Mastagard is the South Island's largest independent and locally owned recycling services and waste collection company and has been servicing thousands of businesses, residences, contractors and construction sites in Canterbury for over 30 years.
Mastagard is a leading innovator in the recycling services and waste collection industry and specializes in providing people with the best possible waste disposal solution that maximizes the amounts of recyclables they can divert from their general waste. Mastagard does this by making people aware through education, community outreach programs and school programs where we work with young children, families and community leaders to teach them about the environment and ways they can help make the world we live in a better place by recycling.

Mastagard now offers Onsite Document Destruction for commercial and residential and we also own and operate a Local Refuse Station that is cheaper than City Council Refuse Stations and is open to contractors as well as the general public.
