Governance
The Mastagard Group of companies follow best practise in terms of Governing its companies. The systems and processes which are followed by Mastagard for Governance are as per the Institute of Directors in New Zealand (Inc) recommendations.
The dedicated Management Team have key accountabilities and deliverables and report to the Managing Director and / or General Manager. Each of the business units have yearly budgets which they report against and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) which they are measured against monthly.
On a monthly basis the Board of Directors meet in a formal setting to review the financial performance and discuss the future strategy of the company. At this meeting the General Manager and Finance Manager are also present.
On a yearly basis the Business Plan for the forthcoming is discussed and approved by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors also approve Annual and Interim Accounts during the year.
Board meeting minutes, directors certificates and directors interest register are administrated by the Finance Manager.
