Off-Site and On-Site Sorting
Off-Site sorting means that Mastagard provides you one skip for mixed waste. The mixed waste is collected from your site and is transported to a sorting facility where our team separates the waste into recycling categories.
On-Site sorting means that Mastagard provides you with multiple bins, one bin for each recycling category and waste is sorted on-site.
On-site sorting can provide you substantial cost savings by eliminating the costs of sorting and then transporting the material from the sorting facility to the reprocessing plants. On-site sorting reduces the amount of residual waste substantially more than mixed waste sent to a sorting facility so you also save on dump fees. The additional labour costs for on-site sorting are negligible compared to the substantial reduction in waste disposal charges that you would get otherwise.
